Calgary Tutoring Centre, an award winning Tutoring Company, is currently hiring In Home & Online Tutors for all subjects Grades 1 to 12 in the NW, SW and SE areas of Calgary. We are a very respected and reputable tutoring company and have been providing tutoring services in Calgary since 2002.
We are looking for tutors who have exceptional knowledge in the subject(s) they would like to tutor and have creative ways of teaching/tutoring to our students in multiple ways.
A vehicle is required for In Home Tutoring and we will ensure that our tutors are sent to clients who provide a very safe environment.
We match up students with tutors who live in an around the same community. The safety of our tutors are our number one priority and our tutors are fully supported by the management at all times.
Qualifications:
- Must be 100% comfortable with the Alberta Curriculum.
- Must be fluent in the English language.
- Must be at least in 1st year Canadian University, or
- be a certified / retired teacher orgraduates or post graduate.
- Must have a positive attitude and be motivated
- Have a passion for teaching.
Further:
- must have excellent communication skills
- be reliable and honest
- creative and enjoy teaching children of all ages
- must have reliable transportation.
- be available to tutor weeknights as well as weekends.
- must have a vehicle (transit will not work) for in home tutoring.
This is part-time (contract) position and the pay ranges from $20.00/hr to $30.00/hr.
